Maintenance Pre-Booking Contract – Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern all maintenance pre-booking services provided by First Valet Ltd (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By booking a service, you (“the Client”) agree to the following:
1. Booking and Scheduling

All vehicles must be scheduled for maintenance pre-booking within either a two-week or four-week period.

A fixed rate applies for standard services, as outlined at the time of booking.

Any additional services or variations will be charged separately and must be agreed upon before commencement.
2. Additional Charges

Excessive debris (e.g., pet hair, sand, or similar contamination) will incur additional charges.

Such fees will be assessed at the time of booking and confirmed with the Client.
3. Cancellations and Amendments

Clients must provide a minimum of 48 hours’ written notice to cancel or amend a booking.

Failure to comply will result in a £25 fee per vehicle, as no deposits are taken in advance.

Repeated cancellations or late amendments may result in refusal of future bookings.
4. Vehicle Accessibility and Readiness

Vehicles must be accessible and ready for valeting at the scheduled appointment time.

A 15-minute courtesy wait period will be observed if a vehicle is inaccessible.

If access remains unavailable, we reserve the right to reschedule or apply relevant fees.

Clients are responsible for ensuring vehicles are legally parked, safe, and suitable for service.
5. Personal Belongings and Child Equipment

Clients must remove all personal items from vehicles before the service, including but not limited to:

Child car seats

Prams
-
Pet beds or cages
-

Our staff may work around remaining items but will not reinstall car seats or equipment after completion of services.

We accept no liability for loss or damage to personal belongings left in the vehicle.
6. Rubbish Removal and Additional Services

Rubbish will only be removed from vehicles with the explicit instruction of the Client.

Additional or specialist services may incur extra charges, which must be agreed at the time of booking.
7. Liability and Limitations

While all reasonable care will be taken, we accept no responsibility for:

Pre-existing damage to vehicles or interiors.
-
Wear and tear revealed during cleaning or maintenance.
-
Mechanical or electrical issues unrelated to the agreed services.

Any claims relating to service quality must be reported within 24 hours of completion.
8. General Provisions

These Terms form the entire agreement between the Client and First Valet Ltd.

We reserve the right to amend these Terms with reasonable notice.

Bookings are subject to availability and may be rescheduled due to weather conditions, staff availability, or unforeseen circumstances.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Important Note: By confirming a pre-booking, the Client acknowledges and agrees to abide by these Terms and Conditions in full.
